How to Register

- About

Registering as a parishioner is how you become an official member of our parish community. While we welcome you any time you are able to join us, your attendance alone is not what makes you a member. Your registration is dependent upon you formally enrolling by completing a parish registration form. See below to our registration form, or you may contact our Parish office 585-271-7240 for more information.

What’s in it for you?

You become a part of our diverse and friendly community! Your registration helps us to contact you and include you in our various religious, ministerial, and social activities. It can also provide with you certain benefits, like scheduling sacraments, obtaining sponsorship certificates (for baptism or confirmation), and just praying regularly with some people who, like yourself, are trying to know and love God better.

Your registration is also how we print our collection envelopes and one of the ways we create your donation statement for your taxes.

- Stewardship of God's Gifts
  You are invited to make a stewardship commitment as you register in the parish. Since God has given us so much, we strive to give back to God a portion of Time, Talent and Treasure he has given us.
  
  Time
  Stewardship begins with prayer and one's relationships with God, family and friends. Prayer prepares us spiritually to use our gifts in service of God and others. As you register in the parish, identify and reflect your blessings, renew your commitment to participate in Sunday Mass and pray daily, make a plan to spend time with family and friends, and give yourself time for relaxation, recreation and exercise.
  
  Talent
  There are many ways in which our God-given talents can be used to benefit others. Below is a listing of opportunities to use your talents within our parish. Please consider prayerfully how you might assist our parish mission with the talents and strengths God has given to you. At the end of this form, you will find many different activities to participate in, with space for a names within each section. Please consider participating in the activities you would find most enjoyable.

  In thanksgiving for our blessings, each household is asked to work towards giving a planned percentage of income and assets to Blessed Sacrament, St. Mary's or St. Boniface.
  
  How do you determine what amount is right? One way is to give based on biblical tithing: 5% to the parish, 1% to the Diocese, and 4% to other charities. Ultimately, a steward gives what in prayer feels right with God. The Lord expects no more and no less.
